Trying to get some numbers together for the track facilitators @ PGP in Seattle. In order to make sure that our schedule for the day makes a little more sense than last time... ;Dgive a quick shout out if you're gonna show. We need a realistic number for them. Yes, this is kinda important. Cheers, - P

Last race was $100 I'm guessing it will be the same. Worth it tho it's a great track and they had trophies ;D

Come on guys, let's get the head count up so pgp will let us race there more often and maybe even lower the entry fee for next years events

Does all the below still apply, except the date of course? The official word for April 11th is: Plan to arrive between 8-8:30 Practice will be until Noon Break for lunch Heats start @ 1pm 6 laps per class Racing will start afterwords 8 laps per class Things should wrap up by 5 This is a CUP event so points scored at this event will count towards that. Track fees $100 Spectators likely around $5 Nope we don't see a penny of any of it, it all goes to the track. If you have never raced or watched racing keep in mind there is really nothing there so bring everything with you including Water (you will sweat even on cold day...well unless you are joy riding) and Food. Spectators, It's not a bad idea to bring something to sit on (good advice for riders too). Imagine spending a day in a parking lot in the middle of nowhere and plan accordingly. See you there. Bring your friends!

I think I am going to puss out on the race. all the hassle of trucking up, $100, all for 1 hour of practice, a 6 lap heat and a 10 lap final, it doesn't seam worth the cost and effort to me anymore. I was thinking we would get all morning of practice (and lets face it, I need lots of practice)
No worries, my fat ass isnt fitting inside my leather with my new fangled body armor yet anyways.

I hear you about your concerns. Basically we didn't have the numbers last time which really hut our case trying to organize it this time. If it's a bad turn out there is not going to be a next time....
Although we are not sure what they are going to be the fees will be reduced.
I'm also thinking that starting the heats at 11 is still possible giving 2 hours of track time dedicated to us. That's more than we typically get in a day...
