depends on how you look at it... over 8 hours, getting 15 minutes every hour comes down to 2 hours.... where you can ride every minute of the 2 hours, with plenty of time to rest and make adjustments. In a continuous 2 hours, I would prolly only get a good 60 minutes of track time in, assuming I needed to make very few adjustments.
I wouldn't worry about adjusting schedules and the like for me, I am one of those people that have as much/more fun on practice day as I do on race day still. I get more track time with less stress.
I do appreciate all the effort of making these event happen, its just for me and my wants and needs, I think my time and money is better spent in other places this weekend. Yes, I am a completely fair weather participant, and I know it.

We have 1 day race events up here where practice is in the morning and racing is in the afternoon. 60 min would be a lot of practice for us.
Well what can I say. We need as many riders out there as possible...
