Standard 110-120 volts these are basically the Chickenhawk warmers. Same supplier I think. Are you running 10"?

Or maybe we should have ordered 10 if it takes that long. Are they backordered or just taking forever to ship?

Finally got the samples last week. Tried them on my motor and it's a good thing I got samples. Although I have almost no clearance on my back tire I was able to get the warmers on fairly easily. Plugged them in and an nice little red LED comes on and the tire starts to warm up. Then when the tire is up to temp the led turns green...nice. The samples were of 2 types of material on the inside and on the outside. New and old style I was told. The old was nylon on the outside and cloth on the inside the new was waterproof nylon on the outside and a silver thermal material on the inside. The new is about $3o more than the old style. What became apparent to me was that due to the clearance issues on the motor I'm quite concerned about melting them on the header while putting them back on after a track session. So I asked and they can make them with a heat resistant material on the outside. I also asked that they be about 2 inches longer than the ones they sent because although they fit the extra length would be nice.
So I'm just waiting on final pricing and I can make an order if everyone is still interested?
Cheers,
Dayn

OK More info and pricing.
Old style $150 for the old style main difference is they are 130 Watts New style $180 and they are 180 Watts.
Both proper length and heat resistant outer material.
My vote would be for the new style but I'm cool with either.
Let me know who is in and what preference you have and we can make the order.

Thanks for the great report Dayn. I suppose it would be a bit easier getting them on a large frame or auto without the crazy pipe coming over the top. What happened to the $100 price tag? Is that for a large order? I'm having to split my recreation budget between scooter racing and boating now so I'm going for the cheaper ones.

Yeah would be easier on a large frame. Still the cylinder and exhaust are not too far away on them either. As for the price shipping and duties/taxes I'm afraid. This is cost, I'm not making any money on this and hopefully no extra charges come up or I'll be loosing money on them....
Old or new doesn't matter to much anything will be better than nothing.
What boat did you get?

I sold my sailboat and bought a 18.5' Bayliner Capri Cuddy in the off season. I pulled the cover off recently and have started in on the cleanup and some rewireing (mostly stereo). I wanted to check if the gas guage works so I bought $40 worth of gas and put it in. That gave me 1/4 tank! So powerboating is definitely more expensive than sailing. And is way more expensive than racing.

So what does everyone think about the warmers? I could likely have them for the 1st race if we make the order soon. I'd need $ up front though form just about anyone that want's a set. Price is $150 a set.
Cheers,
Dayn
