First let me say that we operate as a group. There is no president, leader, dictator what have you. That idea was tabled but we agreed unanimously not to go that route. Therefore I can only relay what has been decided as I understand it. Anyone of the organizers should be able to respond and personally I take issue with you calling out specific members as it does not seem respectful to the other hardworking and equal organizers. Having said that I believe that I can answer the questions that you have tabled.
Q: What are the class rules?
A: The class rules remain as they are however due to poor showing in Group D Groups C&D will be combined into one group.
To clarify what appears to be a point of confusion for you I would like to highlight the following:
1.3.2 Specials Class (Group C & Group D) A Specials Class machine is any racing scooter that does not meet one or more of the criteria of the Stock or Auto Class guidelines.
To me this makes it clear that your bike is placed correctly in the Auto class.
Q: How is scoring done for those classes?
A: Points are awarded according to section 5 of the rules with the exception of 5.1.6 as overall points are not being awarded.
Another amendment is section 5.1.2 where instead of requiring 3 racers to score points the following scenarios will apply:
Upon successful completion of the race with:
Only 1 racer will receive 3rd place points 2 racers will receive 2nd and 3rd points accordingly A DNF is a DNF
Q: how are overall points for the over championship scored?
A: See the answer above, there are no overall points only group points
Q: The rules for if there is a tie in points, etc...
A: For ties Section 5.1.7 applies as do the remaining sections of section 5 that have not been mentioned.
