After doing some reading, Is it best practice to run a soft tire on the front and a medium one on the back ? Or dose it depend on track conditions or yes to all of the above.
Recomendations for tire.
Dunlop tt's , Sava or Heidenau ?

Compound is pretty important. For your first season out, I don't know that you'll notice the difference between a soft front, medium rear. You probably will notice that tire pressure & making sure the tires are warm play a big part in how your bike handles.
Of the three brands, I like the first two better for the application. Between those 2, the first is probably the most accessible, but the second has more options as to compounds & patterns (I liked their rain race tires!).
