yeah definitely shocks too, Maybe we should just make that a permanent part of the rules not just the trial thing as stated.

I am good with allowing suspension and braking upgrades for safety, and pipes. I will also try to come to the meeting in dec. Dayn, are you saying you are gonna race stock?

Yeah I'm gonna rock the stock well in addition to the other class. I have a motor and a line on a frame so it should come together pretty easily. I'm also going to prep my ss and bring it out. I'd rather race that but if it's too slow I'll keep it as a backup. Now what pipe to get.....

I am building two more bikes, hopefully a tuned Vespa GT200 (yep 4 cycle and auto) and I am resurrecting the 225 LC Lambretta into a stock(ish) frame anyone else planning a tuned large frame or lambretta?

My plan is to race the kitted smallframe, the mb5, and maybe a stock p200. I also just picked up a 81 yz 50, I am going to try to outfit it with street tires and see how it does. Maybe I can put up a bit more of a fight against those kx65'6. I will also bring out the moped and hopefully some others will show up so we can have a moped class. I basically want to get in as much racing as I can for the money.

Because there has been a bit of discussion on how to separate the groups/classes to evenly match the power output, I took a look at how the Brits are dealing with their groups. I'm not making any suggestions just yet, as we have some other issues to work out at the meeting in December, but here is a good (I think) template to build off of for next season in the interests of remaining accommodating to the growing numbers of interested parties: Grp 3 standard class upto 160cc Grp 4 standard class upto 211cc No autos, manual gear change only.Mainly lambretta and vespa. all body work must be in place, replacable body work as listed in ACU regs. Grp 5 specials up to 160cc Grp 6 specials up to 260cc No autos, manual gear change only. as ACU regs for special class machines. Grp6a Autos up to 260cc. New class to cover any auto out side regulations for grps 10 to12. ie longer stroke cranks.induction mods etc.non standard body work. ACU standing regs for specials scooters applys. Other Auto classes, Grp 10 upto 80cc Grp 11 upto 125cc Grp 12 upto 250cc Grp 13 upto 500cc Grp 14 upto 650cc - Again - not 100% what we're working with (trying to make room for the mopeds as well ), but an interesting idea...

I think we are starting to hammer this out a little and we look at what we raced last year. So we can try a division and see what happens in the upcoming year and then see what people bring and figure out how it fits in if it is not defined in one of our classes. I have a GT200 to play with, I see this fitting into the Stock Class, although I think we should call it the "SS or Super Stock". I have a Malossi cylinder kit to put on it, but I will refrain in the effort settle in into a class. The there is the Specials class, or Open, this can be a catch all class that covers any modified bike that does not fit into the other classes. But I still feel like something is missing. Most of our bikes seem to be modified Small Frames, maybe we need a small frame class or Specials Class up to 160cc, then leaving the Open class 161cc and up. Just my thoughts.

I was under the impression that the stock class was vintage stock, no autos.. in an attempt to equalize the field a little by racing similar bikes.
