Okay, I'll introduce myself here. I'm Jason Bailly and have been into Vespas and Lambrettas for a while. I want to get my smallframe out on the track this year but will probably transplant most of it to a beater frame as to not f**k it up too much

Right on! Welcome.
Yeah, we all bail a lot so best to save your classic scoots for the road. Junker frame or not, don't forget to add sliders.
Where you located?

Hey!
I just got my first scooter ('09 Kymco Super 8 150) in March and live in Phoenix.
I've been looking all over for a group like this that races in Arizona. Does anyone here know of any AZ scooter racing clubs? I can't find one to save my life...
Thanks! --Kevin

Well... There's these guys: masrc.info/But it sounds like they're in Wisconsin? Not exactly near the AZ. Or you can find out if there is a mini moto or motard group that does regular meets. Our man Brian regularly mobs the motard guys on his little Honda when there aren't enough scooters. ;D Our events generally piggyback onto those types of meets anyway. Finding other genre riders to split your track time with is a big key to getting your operating costs down. We've had good success as a group with doing exactly that. They've been happy to have us & the over all attitude is one of comeradery. I'd say get a few buddies together, find a kart track & start asking around. Cheers. - P
