Does anyone have a good or resourceful connecting rod provider? I'm trying to locate a con-rod as a back up plan. The one I need is a Yamaha DT-125K. I've tried Wiseco and Hot Rod's with no luck. I found an online source from Japan, with a distributor in the US... but that could still be a crap shoot. Anybody??

Hey by any chance are you trying to use a 16mm piston pin in a SF crank?

Doesn't Tony over in the UK run that in his street bike?

A wealth of knowledge Dayn, Thanks! I already have a modified rod for the build, but after reading some stuff about the specific metallurgy involved in connecting rods, I'm suspicious of how long it will last. I wish I'd known about that italkit bearing over the summer, as it could've saved me the trouble. The top end is a Malossi 172 for a T5, with some additional work done to it. It's taken me an embarrassing amount of time to push it along this far. Hopefully this summer!
