2012 is fast approaching, and it is time we all started getting some plans together for the upcoming race season. I posted up on another thread about organizing for the local Portland dates.. that's a good start. it would be great to start resurrecting some of the topics brought up at the end of last year and figure out our direction for this years cup. Last year we had our dates nailed down by feb, which gives us only a month or so. whats the word with you guys up north?

We typically wait until the PCMRC (at GMR) come out with their schedule then we know which weekends we can race. They rent the track from the kart club so racing there is never shared with the karters. Last year I think it was mid February before we had their schedule. No panic as the track isn't open until May.
We will need to work on the communication with PGP this year. Also, there may be some opportunity at the Munroe track.

Nobody is panicking, Angus. Its just been a little quiet on the board. Looking back on last year it seemed we had our schedule posted by feb 13th. Our local organization is getting their stuff together and asking us for input, I am just trying to get the ball rolling.

Hi there Andrea. Thanks for the interest. If you want to know more, I would suggest saying hello in the Intros area & perusing the Basic tech inspection checklist under the "Technical" heading. I see that your URL suggests you are in Canada, so perhaps one of the Canadian members would be a good contact for the local events up there. I say get on it!

Hi Andrea. I am also in the Vancouver area. Good to hear you are interested in racing with us. I highly recommend you do the following;
1. purchase a scooter 2. make that scooter "F...ing Fast" 3. come out and race with us
Step 2 may be skipped for now. That is all.
