I was able to rebuild my master cylinder, set my timing and change the tranny oil this weekend. Should be good to go.

Wow, great weekend guys. Good to see familiar and new faces. The season opener was a huge success. Can't wait till the next one.
The news about PGP is not good. For some reason they have canceled their supermoto series so that leaves a big hole in the middle of the season. Any suggestions?

Agreed it was a fun weekend. Sad about PGP, it also looks like PIR is not going to happen this year ether... That leaves a big hole from now until September....
Medford is happening in June... that would be fun!

We could take a crack at that Eastern Washington track...? I think Angus was talking with them a little bit? Or was that Garrett?

Is that the ridge?

I wish it was the Ridge! Sounds like they're booked solid, though. Even the vintage momo racers said they couldn't get at it again 'til fall. I could be wrong, though if someone else wants to check...

Good times guys! We should really try to figure out another WA location for June. I knew that PIR was still up in the air but is Vintage Days really truly not happening again? If so PIR has done Italian Days in the past, maybe we could get in on that.

I talked to PGP today. They lost their permit for everything except rental karts as a part of the expansion at Pacific Raceways. Apparently the neighbors had issues with the noise levels.
They assured me that they will get the permits back but it will take 2-3 months before that happens. Once it does happen they will add super Moto and scooters back into the mix.
I'm currently looking for other options and will let everyone know if anything develops.

Thanks for looking into that. Perhaps there will be some mid-summer racing available at PGP. I hope so anyway. That's a great track and middle ground means less travel for everyone.

Just talked to the folks over at Bremerton Motorsports Park. They have a track space that currently consists of a runway and taxi way. The SCCA uses it and lays out a decent track. She is checking for available dates and it sounds like the rental would be between $1000-$1200, which should be duable if we can get 15-20 people to show. May be good to get our foot in the door now since they are in the permit stages of opening a whole facility there with a pretty great road course. Here is thier web site: www.bremertonmotorsportspark.comHere you can see the SCCA layout: www.nwr-scca.org/Race/bremerton.htm

Well it's mid May and no word on PGP or PIR ... so what is our plan B?
We could do Medford in June?
JJ I'd like to come down that weekend but we have a race up here on the 27th I'd like to attend...
