Well that time of year has come again... 2014 will soon be upon us and it's time to start thinking of the up coming season Sooo...
What would people like to see happen next year? Small tracks, big tracks? More travel, less travel. More local dates and fewer regional dates? Now's your chance to have a say, so let's hear it!

I enjoyed the variety we've had for the last couple years.
How many events are we thinkin?

So what I had in mid was pretty much a repeat of last year. Most events at the Ridge (if they will have us back) and a few others thrown in like PIR in August and I think it might be fun to do Redding in June (14-16) if we can:
a) get people down there and
b) get some buy in from the California peeps.
Maybe I'm dreaming on that one but I had a lot of fun in Medford when we did that race. If people are into it I'll pursue it a bit farther but if it's a bad idea let me know and I'll drop it?
Garrett is checking with the WMRRA about the Ridge and it sounds like the PIR date is sorted. The Chilliwack crew are happy to have us back so hopefully we can have this all sorted out fairly soon.

So I've given it some thought and looked at all the potential options and come up with this first pass schedule. It's just an idea at this point so give me your input before we start contacting people to firm up dates.
Race 1, March, Portland/McMinnville, OR - MACK
Race 2, April, Seattle/Shelton, WA - The Ridge
Race 3, May, Vancouver/Chilliwack, BC - GMR
Race 4, June, Redding, CA - Shasta
Race 5, July, Seattle/Shelton, WA - The Ridge
Race 6, August, Portland, OR - PIR
Race 7, September, Vancouver/Chilliwack, BC - GMR
Race 8, October, Portland/McMinnville, OR - MACK
This would be a pretty epic schedule to celebrate 5 years of racing but with 8 dates it would also give a chance for people to make up points if they can't make every event.
Again this is a rough draft so please give it some feedback. Even a yea or nay is appreciated.

Thanks Brad, nothing is carved in stone ...well except the PIR date and Redding would be that date or likely no date. We could try a Medford date but that would be us renting the track... I'm not sure there would be enough interest from the southerners to do that.
Other than that I think only MACK track will be running in March and October so that's those 2.
The others are up for discussion though....

Ok so some feedback came in about the schedule and the amount of driving involve came up, which is a fair comment so here is a revised schedule with fewer dates.
There is some interest in the Redding date from both Canada and California so I'm keeping that on the table.
Unfortunately the WMRRA did not get back to us about the Ridge however Garrett has kindly offered to let us run on his track days there. The downside is that they are on Mondays. So the question is what do people think about taking a day off to race?
So here is take 2 and as always you feedback is appreciated.
