I was merging and cleaning up the two schedules for my own personal calender, so I figured I would share it with the class. The blue bolded dates are the cup dates... the others are just the local portland dates.
April 11th Seattle, PGP April 25 Portland, MAC May 1 Portland, PIR May 15th & 16th Portland, MAC June 13th Vancouver, GMR…..or for those less inclined to travel Portland PARC
July 4 Portland, PARC still waiting on news of a reschedule July 25th Seattle, PGP Aug 7th & 8th Portland, PARC Sept. 5th Vancouver, GMR Sept 12 Portland, MAC Oct 16th & 17th Portland, PARC

the PIR Paddock racing thing! What happened with that? I am inclined to think that we would be able to get more local(Portland mostly) moped riders to race if an actual track in Portland existed. Not sure what the "Paddock" is but even if it's oval and short with 4 to 5+ racers it would be a total blast. And if the scooters are a good fit them too.
Something else to. General thoughts on this please. I agree with the past comments on getting more ( not so gearhead) riders to come out and race. Thus far I am neither. Although I figure I will eventually be both My thoughts ( mostly based on talking with other moped riders) are try to entice the "would be's" with help getting bikes ready. See the people I have talked to would most likely show up if they had some help ( typical parts on hand and ready to mount. e.g. "safety wire" ). Now don't get me wrong I don't think anyone should holds hands or swap spit, I just think making sure the safety requirements are understood and met as well as be given some help if need be. I was thinking more of a pre-season gathering, bbq, sex/drugs/rock & roll ( pick 2), and wrenching. Obviously this would start next year. Fund raising could start soonish.
I think it sounds like fun. Anyone else? Let's makes kids dream of the P.S.R.A.

I'll be bringing a smoker, small coal bbq, 2 burner propane stove, table for prep on Sat. Anyone is welcome to use any of these as they see fit. Just don't ask me to cook for you.
