The local club still has one more race coming up in Chilliwack on Oct 18th. I'm planning on heading out and it would great to have some other riders come along to show that we are serious.
Post if you can make it.

So it sounds like things get going @ 9 with a couple hours of practice in the morning then heats starting in the afternoon. This is going to be a trial run for me so hopefully I'll make it through tech and get some track time in. It looks like there are a few NSR's there to play with.

Well the weather sucked but .... the track was awesome! No really I think it is the best track that I have been on. I'm super excited about it! and it's local (to me) and if you buy a season membership for $500, which trust me this is cheap especially when you consider that they give you a KEY TO THE GATE! Seriously as much time anytime form 9 am till dusk you want! I'm totally doing it once I get my new bike up and running.
The track is a bit more technical than MAC but not like PARC ... it's all one surface with a couple of good straights fast sweepers and no ugly oil/gas spots to worry about. Lots of fun and lot's of grip to be had even in the wet.
The track is in great shape and that is due to the care they take of it. As a result they appreciate properly prepared bikes esp. concerning sliders and catch cans but the small extra effort is worth it as it really is a joy to ride something without blemishes.
I met some key members of the Pacific Coast Mini Racing Club (PCMRC) who were super cool and really excited about growing the club and having scooters come out! Everyone was really friendly and totally interested in my bike. They will totally find a place or us and give us our own class for next season! I couldn't have hoped for a better response!
In addition to all this I even met a California Superbike School instructor who is willing to give a newb instruction session if we can get a group together! Seriously this is an awesome opportunity and a great head start! esp. compared to what most people have when they start!
So we are set! All systems are a go for next season! All we need to do is fill the grid. If you have thought about coming out get ready for next season ... THIS IS THE TIME TO DO IT! There are great opportunities to get instruction, practice and experience at what is really an affordable rate. My goal is to build the local scene so let me know what I can do to help! I can prep you bike in an afternoon and lend you gear. I'm also going to give any pointers and instruction/help that I can so that we can all be running the same lap times and pushing each other to get better. The best way to do this is time in the saddle and it really doesn't get much better than this!
Cheers,
