JJ I heard you busted your hand on practice day. You doing alright and are you going to be able to ride come Sunday? One more question. The leathers I tried on, what size did you say they are? I was thinking you suggested that I get a size 44 or something like that.
Everyone!!
Cycle Gear in Portland has brand new one piece suit's for "$360" in black, white, red, maybe come other colors too. Can't remember the brand but it was a dude's name and it seemed like maybe locally made, but maybe not.

I will be there sunday. I did bust my hand up pretty good taking a trip thru the grass. Made me think about getting some better gloves, though I am not sure that it would have completely stopped the injury. The suits at cycle gear are Frank Thomas brand, I would say comparable in quality to the fieldsheer suit I just listed. when you try the suit on think about the spots you may contact the ground and make sure they are armored in those areas, your hips, knees and elbows being the obvious points. You can a seperate back protector.. or a complet pressure suit for you upper body if you get a size with a little wiggle room. The ones you tried on were Dianese, and are a size 42. Dianese tends to run fairly small though, so a 42 in an American brand may fit you fine.

;D Thanks for the info. I am soooo close to having my bike track ready. Just need frame sliders and I think I am just going to use silicone instead of safety wire for my potentially leaky spots. That should get me there. I think I might be bringing up some of the Uphillbattle members. Trying to get them to bring a bike or two..
see ya Sunday

I'm selling my leathers due to being a bit snug around the spare tire. They are Fieldsheer one piece with fairly new pucks. They are like new except a cuple of scuffs i put on them bailing in the corner. I'm 6'0 200lbs and they are bit tight so they'd fit 2'10 180lbs perfectly. $200 call me in White Rock 604-306-9286 or caddraft@shaw.ca. Angus
