Hey probably Jesse but anyone else with input.
I was checking out the O.S.B. website and read the rules. It looks like instead of drilling and safety wiring bolts ( you know which ones) applying silicone will do just fine.
As some of you know I ride a Tomos LX. And those of you that know anything about them know that the gas caps are notorious leakers. Mine is no exception. Now I know I need it to breath to prevent vapor lock (don't really know what that means, I should google it.) but how do I prevent it from leaking if I put it down?
Thanks Jeremie[

The thank still has to breathe, otherwise it will vapor lock the tank and the carb will starve. I'm not even sure how you would keep that thing from leaking when you turned it on it's side. Have to investigate.

Dirt bikes use this sort of thing. I believe that's a check valve at the top.

Now that's looking like what I need. That straw looks like it would poke me in the face though. I wonder if it slides down into the tank so that it doesn't stick up so far.
Thanks for the photo Jeremie

I'm pretty sure you can trim plastic line to suit your needs. You can also just run a line to some place on the bike. Somewhere that it won't leak out if the bike is on it's side.
