Hey all... since I have many folks from many markets here, hopefully watching CL in their various cities. I am in the need of some decent to ok track boots. I wear a 43 or 44 in Alpinstar. As of right now I would like to stay under the $100 price point (since I have some time still)
If you see anything pop up on your local board, let a brotha know. Thanks.

hey Jamie. ever tried www.crazedlist.org? lets you search all the craigslist sites simultaneously, or by region, or just check the cities where you know someone etc.

I had not. Thank you!!!! I have been looking for something like that for a while, and had failed to find one that worked.

Jamie - I don't know if you saw the boots I wore last season, but they worked well. They are actually Motard boots and I was able to get them for under $100 new through one of my vendors. A little overkill for protection as they are designed for concrete and dirt, but inexpensive and functional for sure...

I am unfamiliar with the 'Vega' brand name, that does look to be a pretty good deal at a glance. I would suggest going and giving them a first hand look before... yeah...

I have looked at them. They are quite comfy, other than that I dont know what I should be looking for. I am just afraid that they are so cheap cause they are really cheap, get what I'm sayin?

Yep. Sometimes cheap is... exactly that. My boots are made by Answer. They did the job and then some. Will they last another season? Probably? Am I constantly looking for something better? Yep. Do they still make me feel safe in the meantime? Yep. You're welcome to check mine out. If you decide you think they're alright, we can see what available supply in your size looks like and I know I got mine for about $90.
