Yah man. Nothin' my angle grinder won't make better. I didn't cut dow the '62 allstate body though, it just needs a motor and it's ready to ride (almost). I got a seriously cut down body from Christian that i made this thing out of. The engine is the ridiculous 220cc from the alstate though.
It's not just that i like to cut things down. I'm trying to make up for my fat ass. To put things in perspective... I was talking with Johnny about weight last year. It turns out that he is FIFTY pounds lighter than I am. So to make up for the difference I have to do two things:
1. drop the weight from wherever i can
2. lower my center of gravity
I can do both by chopping the shit out of my bikes. Both my chop jobs have way lower seat and headset compared to stock.

Nice! is that 1mm off the face? That's what I did to mine and it looked about the same. That was OK for the Polini ports but this is a different animal.

Yeah - 1.5mm so far. Might have to go further  Gotta mock up the crank/bearings/piston, find tdc & see where everything lies... |

I'm finished both my bike projects and it's still two months until race season starts. Bummer. I need a new project. Anyone got a largeframe engine for sale?
Someone needs to post something interesting here so I can comment on it.

Got any largeframe vespa engines? I guess I'd sell it too. I could use the $ for shocks on the new racer. Speaking of which, got any adjustable P200 shocks? I'd love a pair of the new SIP shocks.
