Nice pipe! I should have gone for one of those. I pick up my frame tonight. Still have a couple of minor things to do on the motor but with luck I'll have it together quickly. Unfortunately no time for paint just primer this year.

The stock bike is almost done. The Smallframe now has a reed and some other engine mods plus a new frame fork & shocks. I'm moving this weekend so that has taken a bunch of time. I'm still optimistic I'll be ready for the 11th.

WTF?! *sigh*
Fuel from tank to bowl is flowing nice and fast. Bowl is clean. No jets or passages are blocked. Every gasket joint has been sealed up tight. Flyside seal is new. Idle climbs for no damned reason.
This thing actually runs leaner with the larger jets.
Is 7am too early to start drinking?

try corking off the crankcase breather, maybe air is coming from inside the case into the crank chamber. longshot, but I have had this happen.

you can weld cast with you mig... you just need to pre-heat very evenly and cool evenly. Take your hunk of iron, prep the weld joint, throw it in Eric's fire hazard int the corner of you garage (prolly best to put it in on like 200 and turn up the temp 25-50 degrees every 15-30 minutes or so until at full temp), let is sit for quite a while, weld joint, and then bury in kitty litter to let it cool evenly. Blammo weldo. That being said, I would need a little more time to get this done at work I think.
